The basic policy of the group's management is to implement a compliance program to practice the "DAIICHI SANKYO Group Corporate Conduct Charter" and to "earn society's trust and support as a sincere corporation."
We have made every effort to comply with the appropriate rules, laws, and ordinances by establishing various guidelines and self-imposed standards for our individual business activities.
On September 28, 2005, on the occasion of the incorporation of DAIICHI SANKYO Company, Limited, we presented the "DAIICHI SANKYO Group Corporate Conduct Charter" and enacted the "Standards of Conduct for Compliance" for board members, corporate auditors, corporate officers and all employees of the group companies.
As a fully integrated company in April 2007, DAIICHI SANKYO Group aims to manage its business by putting the utmost priority on compliance as a truly global pharmaceutical innovator and as a leading Japanese pharmaceutical company.
