Started operations as the newly formed Daiichi Sankyo Company, Limited | |||
In April 2007, Daiichi Sankyo started operations as a single organization. By combining the unique strengths of the former Daiichi and Sankyo, we are realizing synergies as a leader in our fields of expertise based on the philosophy of “first-in-class, best-in-class.” This integration strengthens the R&D infrastructure needed to maintain a steady flow of new products by combining the creative energies of our researchers and enabling more efficient R&D investments in fields of specialization. The integration also bolsters our domestic and overseas sales forces and distribution networks.
