Tokyo, Japan (August 27, 2010) – Daiichi Sankyo Company, Limited today announced plans for organizational restructuring to be effective as of October 1.

1) Daiichi Sankyo Espha Co., Ltd.
Sales Marketing Division
(1) Creation of Sales Planning Department
-The newly created Sales Planning Department will consolidate the roles of promotion planning. Accordingly, Marketing Departments I and II will be phased out.
(2) Creation of East Japan Sales Promotion Department and West Japan Promotion Department
-The East Japan Sales Promotion Department and West Japan Promotion Department will be created to consolidate and oversee the east and west Japan sales and marketing areas.
