Daiichi Sankyo Selected for 2018 Certified Health and Productivity Management Organization (White 500)

Tokyo, Japan (February 21, 2018)—Daiichi Sankyo Company, Limited (hereafter, Daiichi Sankyo) today announced that it has been selected for 2018 Certified Health and Productivity Management Organization(White 500), a program for commending organizations that conduct good health and productivity management.*1

 

The Certified Health and Productivity Management Organization Recognition Program was introduced by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and Nippon Kenko Kaigi*2 in fiscal 2016 with the aim of increasing the number of organizations implementing health and productivity management. This is the first time Daiichi Sankyo has received this recognition.

 

Based on its conviction that maintaining and promoting the health of employees is indispensable for both the growth of a company and its employees themselves, Daiichi Sankyo has actively promoted initiatives for health management and health improvement. In addition to the continuous efforts it has made to date, the company received this recognition due to its further efforts reflected in the clear statement of its management philosophy and the development of its organizational structure along with appointment of a Chief Health Officer.
