Japan Research Foundation for Clinical Pharmacology
The Japan Research Foundation for Clinical Pharmacology provides funding to clinical pharmacology research (including research and overseas study programs) with the aim of contributing to the advancement of clinical pharmacology and the development of researchers in this field. In addition, the foundation, in collaboration with the Japanese Society of Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutic, presents the Japan Research Foundation for Clinical Pharmacology Award and hosts intensive clinical pharmacology courses.

Daiichi Sankyo (China) Holdings Co., Ltd. provides scholarships and fellowships to medical and pharmaceutical doctoral and master’s degree students, as well as faculty members at Fudan University in Shanghai, to support their research through the Daiichi Sankyo Pharmaceutical Oriental Scholarship Program at Fudan University.

Support for the Florence Nightingale Medal Program
The Florence Nightingale Medal is the highest honor awarded biennially by the International Committee of the Red Cross to nurses who have made outstanding contributions to the nursing profession. In 2025, 35 nurses from 17 countries and regions received the award, including three from Japan. Daiichi Sankyo supports this award through donations to the ceremony organized by the Japanese Red Cross Society.

Support for health awareness activities in Shanghai
Since fiscal year 2014, Daiichi Sankyo (China) Holdings Co., Ltd. has been supporting programs carried out by resident physicians from hospitals in the Shanghai region to raise public awareness of health-related information, Currently, 27 hospitals have conduct various online and on-site activities on a monthly basis. Employees of Daiichi Sankyo (China) also have been participating as volunteers.
