ESG in general
In July 2023, Daiichi Sankyo was selected as a constituent of the FTSE4Good Global Index, for the 15th consecutive year since 2009 and the FTSE Blossom Japan Index for the 7th consecutive year since 2017. FTSE Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index, which has been in operation since 2022, also selected for two consecutive years. The index is selective ESG index evaluated from three perspectives: FTSE Russell's ESG rating, carbon emission intensity (greenhouse gas emissions based on sales), and a company's management policy of climate change risks and opportunities.

We will continue to aim to realize our purpose of "contribute to the enrichment of quality of life around the world," to continuously improve our corporate value, and to become a company that is trusted by our stakeholders.
