The Daiichi Sankyo Group has established the Daiichi Sankyo Group Basic Social Contribution Policy, which guides various initiatives, including ones contributing to the advancement of medicine and pharmacology. Our approach to corporate citizenship is based on the concept of "social investments". Through this concept, we identify priority social issues on which we should focus and engage in corporate citizenship initiatives using our management resources. We also value the collaboration with organizations such as NPOs and NGOs in order to adopt all possible measures to address social issues. Furthermore, we encourage our employees’ active participation in social activities by introducing a system that offers paid leave for volunteering and providing information of volunteer opportunities.
