Improving access to healthcare is an important mission as a pharmaceutical company.

Unmet medical needs and access barriers to essential healthcare caused by social factors such as public health, education and income inequality are social issues regarding health and medical care. We are effectively utilizing internal and external resources to contribute to the resolution of these social issues for improving Access to Healthcare.

Through these initiatives, we contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) established by the United Nations, "Goal 3: Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages."

At the same time, we are promoting initiatives for “Goal 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure” and “Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals.”
